Slumber bedtime milk

Waitrose is selling milk from a dairy farm in Turville Heath, Oxfordshire, as an aid to insomnia. The organic milk called ‘Slumber Bedtime Milk’ is milked from cows at dawn. Scientists from the Institute of Applied Biotechnology, Kuopio University, Finland, have found that early milking produces milk with four times more melatonin, a hormone linked to sleepiness and a feeling of well-being.
