Cannabinoids for reducing fear-related memories?

German and Italian researchers have discovered a physiological link between endogenous cannabinoids and the processing of memories. They claim that their results show that endogenous cannabinoids may have a role in helping humans overcome fears, and suggest that the cannabinoid system could be harnessed to help patients recover from conditions such as phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder and some types of chronic pain.
