The alternative Wikipedia: Online CAM encyclopaedia launched

A group led by Dr Manish Bhatia, Director of Hpathy.com, has established a new online CAM encyclopaedia designed to rival Wikipedia, one of the most popular online resources. The group decided to establish the parallel wiki in an attempt to avoid what they perceive as misinformation about CAM therapies being written by sceptical editors. The new wiki ‘Wiki4CAM’ can only be edited by CAM practitioners. The site states that: ‘We need a place where the CAM community can build its own knowledge base without the undue interference of skeptics. We need a place where the CAM practitioners themselves write articles and create a true picture of its history, development, efficacy and positive research.’
